Kia ora, I'm a spatial designer, maker & installer - happiest at the intersection of disciplines.

Originally from Lorraine, France, I came to Aotearoa aged 15 to learn english on a school exchange and then returned to study a Bachelor of Spatial Design at Massey Wellington.

 After
working  in the interior and architectural industry  across Wellington, Melbourne, Napier, Auckland and Nelson, I started trading as  MPD in 2022 - following one year of making and installing cabinetry for tiny homes in West Auckland.
My work currently ranges from interior and architectural design, cabinetry,  set design and installation design and I also:
- teach woodwork to women at the Womenzshed in Sandringham
- collaborate on spatial projects with Atelier Jones
- have built a Shepherd Hut with La Fabrick
DESIGN MANIFESTO
I am a passionate designer
who loves inhabiting and exploring the urban fabric
as much as the natural landscape.
I am an observer of the everyday,
fascinated by our interactions with the spaces we inhabit.
I am a lover of spaces
Meaningful, human scaled spaces that nourish us.
Timeless, evolving spaces that offer growth and connection.
I believe in thinking through making,
in trusting the design process
and allowing for successful well considered concepts to emerge.
I value multi-discipline practices and the merging of fields,
I practice and create sustainability •
