Looking at existing elements in their home, colours, art and textures helped create a palette for this new open and central space – with a kōwhai tree in the backyard and family heirloom yellow plates, Saffron plywood came naturally, paired with forest green and reclaimed native rimu to keep a balance of old and new for this turn of the century villa.
